Job summary

Caddell Construction seeks an Assistant Procurement Manager - International in Montgomery, AL, on-site, to oversee procurement activities for large international projects. The role requires coordination with staff, writing and issuing contracts, and ensuring alignment with project budgets and schedules.

The candidate will support the Procurement Manager and contribute to process improvements while operating in a dynamic, travel-involved environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED with construction experience.
• Current clearance or ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and managing procurement for construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage procurement activities for construction materials and equipment.
• Issue contract documents for purchase of materials and track changes and submittals.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control of materials and equipment.
• Coordinate with Procurement leadership and staff, acting as an extension of the Procurement Manager as needed.
• Support development and improvement of procurement processes and tools.
