Job summary

Lam Research Corporation seeks a Buyer in Oregon to analyze requisitions and coordinate purchasing for timely, cost-effective inventory. You’ll process requisitions, change orders, and RFQs from suppliers, while tracking KPIs and maintaining supplier records.

You will build supplier relationships, manage PO releases to meet demand, and drive cost reductions through data-driven sourcing in a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze and process purchase requisitions and quotations for materials, components, capital equipment and services.
• Manage purchase orders and changes based on demand.
• Understand, maintain, and report weekly KPIs.
• Maintain records of suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories.
• Manage purchase order (PO) releases to meet demand requirements.
• Build key supplier relationships to review open action items, performance, demand forecast, and cost reductions.
