Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions seeks a Process Engineering Manager to lead design, scale-up and optimization of chemical manufacturing processes across laboratory, pilot, and full-scale production.

The role requires leadership of multidisciplinary teams, partnership with operations, and delivery of engineering solutions that support business objectives and asset integrity within a global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry; 15+ years in chemical process engineering, or Master’s with 10+ years of progressive experience.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Experience in chemical process engineering within manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes from concept through pilot plant and full-scale production.
• Oversee pilot-scale experiments and testing programs to evaluate and enhance production processes.
• Drive validation efforts to improve yield, quality, and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Operations, Quality, Marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless technology transfer and process integration.
• Develop and maintain P&ID diagrams and process specifications.
