Job summary

Morgan Stanley seeks an Advanced Specialist Director in IM operations to oversee private equity portfolio accounting across primary funds, co-investments, secondaries, and impact strategies. You will manage processes with teams, monitor investor activity, coordinate with custodians, and implement controls in a fast-paced global environment.

You will work with external service providers, prepare carried interest calculations, support valuations, and ensure NAV and performance data accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in private equity or real estate investment accounting.
• Knowledge of hedge fund accounting and/or derivatives; experience with Investran is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME within the functional area, manage processes, risks and projects; drive improvements.
• Act as problem solver, address unique situations, identify risks and issues.
• Monitor investor activity and portfolio postings with custodians; ensure proper settlements.
