Job summary

J.P. Morgan's International Private Bank is seeking a Lending Specialist to manage complex borrowing relationships for ultra-high-net-worth clients.

You will present private bank credit solutions to non-U.S. clients based in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Canada, discussing financing options and cross-border structuring. This role emphasizes collaboration with market managers, bankers and investors to integrate credit into the bank's offering and grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• Ten plus years of experience with extensive credit, loan and deposit products.
• Experience with complex credit transactions and restructurings.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Ability to manage cross-border lending and documentation.
• Strong relationships with Europe, Asia and US partners.

Responsibilities

• Act as internal sales leader for credit products, liaising with Market Managers, Bankers and Investors to ensure credit is a core part of the JP Morgan Private Bank offering.
• Partner with Bankers to uncover needs and deliver sophisticated credit solutions to client and prospect financings or restructurings.
• Originate credit leads from prospects and existing clients and lead credit marketing initiatives for the local market.
• Handle deal analysis, due diligence and credit presentations.
• Monitor portfolio risk and proactively work to improve portfolio quality and prevent loss.
• Work with colleagues to obtain approval for all loan transactions, and manage the process of booking and funding loans from beginning to end.
• Responsible for deepening and strengthening client relationships with JP Morgan Private Bank.
• Participate in coordination of sales and relationship management effort with Bankers, Investors and Wealth Advisors.
