Job summary

J.P. Morgan's U.S. Private Bank seeks a Lending Specialist to advise clients on capital structure and tailor credit solutions.

You will collaborate with colleagues across markets to provide a first-class client experience. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (MBA is a plus), Series 7/66 licenses or ability to obtain within 90 days, and 5+ years of credit risk experience with knowledge of loans, deposits, mortgages, and other credit products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required; MBA preferred/asset.
• Series 7 & 66 licenses required or must obtain within 90 days of start.
• 5+ years of credit risk experience in financial services.
• Knowledge of bank loan, deposit, mortgage and credit products.
• Understanding of wealth management incl. investing, trusts and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pitches to existing and prospective clients.
• Analyze the book of existing clients to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with borrowing clients.
• Advise, negotiate and execute loan structures.
• Structure financing solutions within risk parameters and policies.
• Maintain a quality credit book with proactive client communication and issue escalation.
• Collaborate with Credit Risk to optimize underwriting outcomes.
