DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking an experienced privacy counsel to serve as the primary privacy legal partner to product and marketing teams across banners and subsidiaries. You will lead privacy-by-design, data use governance, and global privacy matters while enabling innovation and managing risk.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (JD) required.
• Active legal license in PA or another U.S. state.
• 5–7 years of experience in privacy law; or 8+ years in related roles.
• Experience advising on global privacy, ad tech, or consumer data use.

Responsabilités

• Lead privacy counsel advising on privacy-by-design for products, marketing and data use.
• Advise on data sharing, targeted advertising, loyalty programs and analytics.
• Develop scalable guardrails and playbooks for business teams.
• Embed with product, engineering and marketing to align on privacy questions.
• Coordinate with regional privacy counsel to adapt launches to local laws.
• Manage outside counsel interaction, budgeting and complex negotiations.
• Oversee transactional matters and potential disputes relating to Global Privacy.
