Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking a Privacy Counsel to provide legal oversight on privacy, data protection, and data‑management matters across the corporation and subsidiaries. You will develop and operationalize privacy policies, review contracts from a privacy perspective, and advise business and technology teams on privacy risks.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Active bar admission in good standing in the US; Massachusetts preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of relevant legal experience in privacy, data protection, or cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal oversight for privacy, data‑management, and information‑security programs.
• Advise stakeholders on privacy, data protection, security, and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate privacy notices, Data Processing Agreements, and related documentation.
• Lead privacy training programs and establish role‑based privacy training.
