Job summary

Axon seeks a Privacy & AI Counsel to embed privacy and ethical AI into products and operations worldwide. You will partner with product, AI, and employment teams to ensure responsible handling of data and compliance in highly regulated markets.

The role requires JD, US bar admission, and 3+ years in privacy law, with Global GDPR/US experience and cross‑border transfer expertise. In‑office location preference includes Boston, NYC, Atlanta, or Sterling.

Qualifications

JD and active US bar admission.
3+ years in privacy or data protection law, preferably with tech/SaaS/AI products.
Experience advising on GDPR and US state privacy laws.
Experience with cross‑border data transfers and DPAs.

Responsibilities

Support privacy and AI compliance across products and operations.
Advise on ethical and legal considerations of AI data and outputs.
Manage risk through privacy impact assessments, DSARs, DPAs and third‑party reviews.
Collaborate with privacy counsel to build scalable privacy/AI processes.
Provide guidance during incident response and remediation.
