Job summary

Axon seeks a Privacy & AI Counsel to embed privacy and ethical AI across products and global operations. You will partner with product, AI, and employment teams to ensure compliant development and deployment of AI features in regulated markets.

The role requires a JD and US bar admission with at least 3 years in privacy or data protection, including global GDPR and LGPD experience. Hybrid in-office presence preferred with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• JD and bar admission in good standing in at least one US state.
• Minimum 3 years of privacy or data protection law experience.
• Experience advising on GDPR, US state privacy laws, PIPEDA, LGPD.
• Experience with cross-border data transfers and DPAs.

Responsibilities

• Support privacy and AI compliance across Axon products and operations.
• Counsel on AI training data and outputs; promote AI-augmented workflows.
• Lead privacy workflows: impact assessments, DSARs, DPAs, third‑party reviews.
• Collaborate with privacy counsel to build processes.
• Provide guidance during incident response and remediation.
