Job summary

Quanex is seeking a Global Strategic Pricing Manager to shape pricing across international markets from Akron, OH, Owatonna, MN or Minneapolis, MN. You will develop data-driven pricing models, analyze market trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing structures.

The role requires 10+ years in pricing/revenue analytics, strong data skills (Excel/SQL/Power BI), and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic pricing, revenue management, or business analytics in global settings.
• Proficiency in pricing analytics tools, ERP systems, and financial modeling software (Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholder engagement and negotiation experience.
• Ability to lead pricing initiatives and influence decisions across multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements global pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share while maintaining competitive positioning.
• Conducts market research, analyzes competitive pricing structures, and helps establish list pricing.
• Collaborates with sales, product management, finance, and regional teams to align pricing with business goals.
• Develops and refines pricing models for various markets and customer segments accounting for value, costs, and regional factors.
• Monitors pricing performance, identifies revenue opportunities, and drives pricing initiatives to improve margins.
