Job summary

DS Smith seeks a Commercial Pricing Analyst for TMS Global to support profitable growth across a diverse international customer portfolio. You will transform complex data into actionable insights, influence pricing strategy, and assist in decisions across Sales, Procurement and Finance teams.

You will develop pricing models, monitor market trends, and drive automation within pricing processes. This is a fixed-term role through March 2027 with cross-regional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Background in FMCG or packaging essential; print experience preferred.
• Proven experience in pricing and commercial analytics.
• Experience developing pricing models and analytical tools.
• Strong understanding of commercial pricing methodologies and supply chain dynamics.
• Excellent stakeholder management with cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced Excel modelling and data analysis.
• ERP systems and Power BI experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer and supplier pricing data to provide insights and support decisions.
• Ensure pricing decisions align with margins and contractual agreements.
• Monitor raw material indices and market trends; advise on pricing impacts.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing performance and efficiency.
• Drive automation and process improvements across commercial operations.
• Manage contract events in internal systems (anniversaries, RMI adjustments).
• Develop pricing models and ensure deployment across the business.
• Support contract execution, onboarding and pricing-related issue resolution.
