Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in the USA seeks a Senior Ocean Pricing Analyst to translate customer requirements into accurate pricing for spot quotes, RFQs, and tender opportunities. You will collaborate with Sales, Tender Management, and Global Ocean Product Management to drive profitable pricing.

You will maintain data integrity, analyze pricing results, and leverage market intelligence and pricing tools to improve speed, accuracy, and governance across lanes and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, ocean pricing, or tender management.
• Experience handling ocean freight pricing, RFQs, and multi-origin/ multi-destination bids.
• Knowledge of carrier pricing, rate validity, and profitability considerations.
• Understanding of freight-forwarding commercial and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end ocean freight pricing for spot quotes, RFQs, and tenders.
• Coordinate with Sales, Tender Management, procurement, and operations.
• Develop pricing strategies using market intelligence and routing options.
• Prioritize opportunities based on urgency, profitability, and capacity.
• Prepare submissions with clear pricing logic and terms; participate in quality checks.
• Maintain pricing data across systems and communicate status and risks.
