Job summary

Astellas is seeking a Senior Strategy Lead for Precision Medicine to shape biomarker programs and drive commercialization across geographies from its Northbrook, IL base. The role collaborates with Medical, CDx Partners, Global Brand Marketing, Regulatory and Legal to ensure successful diagnostic launches.

The position requires 7+ years in pharma/healthcare with diagnostic marketing experience, strong strategic planning, and travel up to 10–15% to support global initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology or other scientific discipline.
• 7+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with diagnostic/PM marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Precision Medicine strategy for select biomarker programs.
• Oversee US pull-through of launch/commercialization strategy including DTE and market research.
• Coordinate with Global PM and cross-functional partners to implement diagnostic strategies across geographies.
• Define KPIs and dashboards to measure performance of biomarkers/indications.
• Support and lead agency relationships and related budgets for DTE pillars.
