Job summary

PACCAR seeks a Powertrain & Vehicle Emissions Compliance Director to manage certification and compliance for engines and zero-emission powertrains. You will interact with EPA, CARB, and global teams to ensure regulatory alignment.

Based in Bellevue, WA, this role requires extensive collaboration, leadership of multiple teams, and travel to US and overseas sites with annual trip expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of EPA and CARB regulations.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork and communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Set organizational priorities, resources, processes, and performance expectations.
• Direct certification applications and running-change submissions for engines, vehicles, and zero-emission powertrains.
• Ensure EPA and CARB submissions are complete, accurate, and timely.
• Oversee interpretation of global emissions requirements and related obligations.
• Translate regulatory requirements into product requirements and track through PCP processes.
• Lead collaboration with engineering and business teams on regulatory issues.
• Manage AECDs across various propulsion platforms.
• Oversee emissions reporting and credits programs.
• Coordinate field actions and recalls with agencies and stakeholders.
