Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an Emissions Compliance Engineer to drive regulatory compliance across North American vehicle programs within the PCP lifecycle. The role ensures timely market compliance and reduces regulatory risk.

The Emissions Compliance Operations team collaborates with global counterparts and internal stakeholders to integrate compliance into the PCP process from start to finish, reporting to theOperations Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering, certification, homologation or compliance experience in automotive/heavy-duty.
• Experience in a PMO or project management environment; PMP preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing abilities with stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate evolving regulatory environments and provide practical solutions.
• Understanding EPA/CARB regulations and related emissions topics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Emissions Compliance deliverables for active Vehicle PCP projects, attending program meetings and coordinating requirements.
• Partner with Regulatory Engineering to monitor emerging rules and impacts on compliance.
• Maintain an inventory of compliance-related processes; ensure they are current and effective.
• Support PCP process development and continuous improvement for Vehicle Division and global processes.
• Lead stakeholder discussions to gather input and drive process updates.
• Collaborate with Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF QC teams to audit compliance processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support Emissions Compliance objectives.
• Provide regular status updates on PCP compliance activities, risks, and deliverables.
• This position requires travel up to 5% and is 100% onsite.
