Piller Power Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own complex power system projects from order entry through commissioning and closeout.

You will act as the primary project authority, coordinating with engineering, service, sales, and customers to deliver systems including UPS, generators, and switchgear while preserving budget, schedule, and scope.

This role requires strong leadership, extensive communication, and travel of 50% or more to domestic and international sites.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• 3–10 years in design, application, or service of industrial products, preferably electrical power or controls.
• 3–5 years leading system-level technical projects with customer/vendor interaction and full project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with contract language, budgeting, scheduling, and commissioning for UPS and related systems.

Aufgaben

• Owns projects from order entry to final acceptance; ensure scope and profitability.
• Interface with clients and contractors; lead site meetings and coordinate technical communication.
• Coordinate cross-department effort across Sales, Service, Engineering, Purchasing, and Accounting.
• Develop schedules, track milestones, manage invoicing, and meet profitability targets.
• Oversee technical docs, test procedures, submittals, and MOPs.
• Coordinate FAT, startup, and SAT; host customer-witnessed testing (domestic & international).
• Manage shipping docs and inbound shipments from Germany; ensure vendor quality.
• Direct daily site activities; review timesheets and expenses; guide teams to deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal project management processes.
• Generate and present project reports to senior management.
• Support service-led initiatives as needed.
• Oversee project-related billing and assist with contract issues.
