Job summary

3M is seeking a Portfolio Leader, Semiconductor Materials, to drive strategy and portfolio direction for advanced semiconductor materials. The role leads a global cross-functional team across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas and collaborates with senior leadership to set long‑term plans.

The position requires a strong track record in P&L leadership, market strategy, and executive communication. On-site work at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN is expected, with travel up to 20% and relocation possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Twelve (12) years of semiconductor/manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Five (5) years of experience in a P&L leadership role managing teams of at least ten (10) members.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy and portfolio direction for advanced semiconductor materials.
• Lead a global cross-functional team across multiple time zones.
• Set long‑term strategic direction and operating plans for complex markets and product lines.
• Provide marketing leadership across insights, market research, pricing, and CRM strategy.
• Coach and develop team members to optimize pricing, merchandising, and sales analytics.
