Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Senior Commodity Manager for the Performance Pneumatics platform in the United States. You will develop and execute global commodity strategies, lead supplier negotiations, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements across the Pneumatics portfolio.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, finance and leadership to deliver productivity, manage risk, and strengthen supply chain resilience. Travel about 20–30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience in sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain leadership.
• Experience leading complex supplier negotiations and applying should-cost or cost modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global commodity strategies for cost, quality, delivery, inventory, and continuity.
• Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers to improve cost competitiveness and resilience.
• Lead supplier negotiations and establish commercial agreements for best total cost of ownership.
• Simplify the supplier base and drive sourcing effectiveness across platforms.
• Manage supplier performance with scorecards, reviews, and corrective actions.
