Otis Elevator Company is seeking a motivated Project Management Intern to join the Global Program Management Office in Farmington, CT. The role offers exposure to planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder communications, governance, and dashboards while collaborating with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Digital Technology, and Field Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project schedules, milestone plans, and deliverables.
• Help document project objectives, scope, assumptions, and stakeholder requirements.
• Participate in planning sessions and project reviews.
• Support Program Managers in tracking project milestones, action items, and commitments.
• Help maintain project plans, dashboards, and status reports.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule or resource concerns.
• Participate in cross‑functional team meetings.
• Document decisions, action items, and follow‑up activities.
• Help ensure alignment across engineering and other cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Assist in identifying project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Help maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Track resolution activities and escalation actions.
• Support development of project management templates, tools, and standard work.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Explore opportunities to leverage AI and digital tools to improve project execution and team productivity.
• Assist with project status reports, presentations, and executive updates.
• Create visual summaries of project information and key metrics.
• Communicate project information clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.
