Job summary

3M is seeking a Division PMO and Commercialization Leader to guide the Division PMO and oversee high-priority commercialization programs from the Maplewood, MN on-site location. You will champion process improvements, align with NPI standards, and drive portfolio governance, resource prioritization, and performance dashboards across geographies.

The role requires ISO/NIOSH audit readiness and strong leadership in a global lab environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Science or Engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years commercialization leadership experience, including phase gate process.
Minimum of five (5) years combined supervisory and/or management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Division PMO with a team of Project Managers on complex commercialization programs.
Drive commercialization excellence by improving processes, tools and ways of working for agility and speed.
Partner with NPI processes to ensure alignment with 3M Grow and NPI expectations.
Oversee division-wide portfolio governance and Resource Prioritization Management.
Develop PMO capability through training, coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Own tracking, reporting, and performance management of key NPI dashboard metrics.
Lead annual NPI sales forecasting in collaboration with stakeholders.
Support strategic planning with LOC to align portfolio priorities with division strategy.
Participate as a LOC member in strategic/operational decisions and audits (ISO/NIOSH).
Identify and lead process improvements across NPI, portfolio prioritization, and lab processes.
Provide portfolio risk assessment and escalation to leadership.
