Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. seeks a Leader of Infrastructure Platforms to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance of enterprise computing across cloud, data centers, and applications.

Based in Berwyn, PA, this onsite role leads global ops teams and MSPs to deliver always-on services aligned with ITIL and security standards. You will drive platform strategy, IaC, and automation while partnering with Security, EA, and manufacturing units to support digital transformation and cost transparency.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT infrastructure and operations with 7+ years in global leadership.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud environments and large-scale workloads.
• Strong background in manufacturing IT and regulated environments.
• Proven track record of service delivery, vendor management, and global teams.
• Strategic leadership balancing innovation with stability; strong exec reporting.
• Willingness to visit manufacturing sites and work with export-controlled info.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Platform Operations strategy for compute, storage, cloud and apps.
• Establish operating models, SLOs/SLAs, and governance aligned to ITIL principles.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Dev teams for resilient services.
• Lead readiness for new platforms and global rollouts, including M&A.
• Oversee hybrid data centers, Azure/AWS, and edge locations; manage core infra.
• Drive IaC, automation, and self-service provisioning to boost agility.
• Monitor security, compliance (SOX, NIST, DFARS), and vendor performance.
• Own budgets, FinOps, and cost transparency; lead 24x7 global platform ops.
