Job summary
AMETEK Inc. is seeking a strategic Leader of Infrastructure Platforms to drive reliability, scalability and compliance across cloud, data centers, and application hosting.
You will lead global teams and MSPs to deliver always‑on services, partnering with architecture, cybersecurity, and development to ensure financial and operational excellence. The role is based in Berwyn, PA, onsite, with relocation support where needed; it requires defining platform operating models, SLOs/SLAs, and guardrails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or engineering; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years in IT infrastructure and operations with global leadership.
- Experience governing hybrid/cloud environments for large enterprises.
- Strong vendor management, ITIL-aligned operations, and security practices.
- Ability to lead across IT and business units with executive reporting.
Responsibilities
- Define global Platform Operations strategy for compute, storage, cloud, and AI/automation.
- Lead 24x7 global operations teams and manage MSP relationships.
- Ensure SOX, NIST, DFARS, and ISO controls across platforms.
- Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and cost transparency (FinOps).
- Drive IaC, monitoring, and platform reliability engineering initiatives.
