Job summary

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Security Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain physical security systems across Palantir’s global sites. You will lead evaluations of new technology, collaborate with security professionals, engineers and lawyers, and ensure on-time delivery of end-to-end projects while upholding Palantir’s integrity and security standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with security systems, proficiency with video management and access control systems,

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience maintaining security systems and related technologies.
• Proficiency with enterprise Video Management Systems, enterprise Physical Access Control Systems, Intruder Detection Systems, Communication Systems, and security hardware.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee the technical aspects of your projects from conception to full deployment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot security systems with vendors and end users, finding the best solutions quickly.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
• Validate that implemented security controls meet project goals before closure.
