Job summary

Northwood is seeking a senior Physical Security Lead to design, implement, and manage the program across corporate offices, ground stations, and international sites. You will build a team, own security posture, and partner with executives, legal, and facilities to protect personnel and operations.

The role leads executive protection, travel security, and NISPOM-aligned programs, establishing standards, conducting site assessments, and coordinating with vendors for robust security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive physical security experience.
• Leadership of physical security programs in corporate, defense, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Experience designing and managing physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection).
• Executive protection program development and travel security planning.
• International travel security program management and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with NISPOM requirements for cleared defense contractors; ability to coordinate with legal and government customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the physical security program across corporate offices and ground station facilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement remediation.
• Design security standards for new facility builds and deployments.
• Manage relationships with security vendors, integrators, and personnel.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Develop executive protection programs and travel security planning.
• Oversee international travel security programs and traveler tracking.
• Support NISPOM compliance and DD Form 254 coordination.
• Hire, mentor, and lead a security team and coordinate with facilities and legal.
