Job summary

TULU is seeking a People & Business Operations Manager to become the operational backbone of our global multi-entity company. You’ll own the employee experience end to end, from screening calls to offboarding, and run the machinery behind a distributed team—payroll, benefits, offices, travel, and essential governance.

Reporting to the COO/CFO, you’ll collaborate with the CEO and department managers, manage external advisors, and help prepare board decks, investor updates, and contracts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in business operations or similar generalist roles.
• Experience across recruiting, onboarding, payroll & benefits, offboarding.
• Willingness to learn legal, finance, and investor side of the business.
• Fluency with AI tools to automate manual work.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail with multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication for leadership and the board.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Hands-on, adaptable to ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR systems, and records.
• Manage global payroll, benefits, PTO and holiday calendars.
• Administer offices, travel, and team events across locations.
• Support COO/CFO on legal, finance, and compliance activities.
• Prepare recurring leadership and board materials; ensure cadence.
