Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a Global Business Partner to lead the People workstream for a 12-month integration following an acquisition. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business and specialist partners to ensure timely decisions and compliant transitions across the employee lifecycle.

The role emphasizes governance, change management, and talent continuity, requiring 10+ years in People, cross-border experience, and ability to influence in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant People experience in global environment.
• Experience with acquisition, merger or large-scale integration.
• Knowledge of organization design, transfers, reward harmonization.
• Strong program management with fixed milestones.
• Excellent communication to executives and staff.
• Experience across multiple jurisdictions with Legal teams.
• Ability to navigate matrixed environments and influence leaders.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Collaborate across cultures and geographies.
• Understanding of privacy controls in data migration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end People integration plan with milestones and risk management.
• Translate business objectives into workforce priorities for target and S&P Global Ratings.
• Lead People due diligence follow-through and identify risks.
• Design future-state organization and workforce transition approach.
• Coordinate employee transfer and onboarding with HR and Legal.
• Assess compensation and benefits harmonization; develop transition plans.
• Develop and execute People change and communications plans.
• Identify critical talent and retention risks; plan retention strategies.
• Coach leaders through integration decisions and culture changes.
• Oversee people processes: performance, development, recruitment, payroll.
• Support data migration and reporting with privacy controls.
• Establish governance and reporting across People function.
