Job summary

Search for Common Ground in Washington, DC, invites a Global Program Development Intern to support fundraising, partnerships, and program design for global initiatives. The internship is open to students in an academic program and includes hands-on experience within our peacebuilding network.

You will conduct research on donor funding, help design proposals, and coordinate with regional teams, gaining exposure to government, multilateral, and foundation-funded opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Current student pursuing relevant degree.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, internet search).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with development of global partnerships, project designs, and proposals.
  • Conduct research related to fundraising from bilateral governments, multilaterals, and foundations.
  • Identify and research opportunities for new program development and partnerships.
  • Represent Search at relevant meetings and events in Washington, D.C.
  • Develop and update knowledge management tools and resources.

Education

Current student pursuing degree in International Relations, Conflict Studies, Development, or related area
