Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States, Texas, Austin is seeking a seasoned sourcing professional to lead PCBA supply chain initiatives for AWS hardware infrastructure.

You will develop and execute PCBA sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and align procurement with cost, quality, and delivery goals. You will analyze industry trends, coordinate cross-functional teams, and present updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement PCBA Supply sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
  • Understand industry and technology trends.
  • Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.
  • Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationship with suppliers.
  • Responsible to provide weekly core‑team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and will be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.
  • Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world.

This role will lead sourcing, pricing, geo‑diversity, and second source manufacturing efforts for supply resiliency for additional AI/ML PCBAs added to our product roadmap. This role will manage the additional supply chain complexity when qualifying suppliers and manufacturing lines when transitioning from development to Mass Production. Additionally, this role will deliver our component multi‑sourcing strategies, pricing, and enable contract manufacturing for the same platforms to ensure supply chain resiliency for our expanding AI/ML roadmap. This role will lead line qualification, capacity planning, and contract agreements during product development so that at launch, PCBA manufacturing capacity is scalable to meet our customer needs.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
