Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer to join the Central Hardware Systems PCB CAD team in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on global tool deployment, automation, and design-services support for multi-platform PCB development.

You will work with Cadence Allegro, Siemens Xpedition, and other EDA tools, driving end-to-end design flows and coordinating with engineering peers to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with PCB-to-mechanical file exchanges.
• Understanding of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with PCB design practices and industry standards.
• Understanding of PCB stack-up development and controlled impedance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support global tool deployment and automate processes.
• Provide design services and methodology support.
• Evaluate and implement new EDA tools and workflows.
• Coordinate with Engineering and CAD teams to resolve PCB issues.
