Job summary

IFF is seeking a Director, Global Payroll to lead a transformational payroll program for the Food Ingredients business as it becomes a standalone entity. You will drive Day 1 readiness and implement a scalable, compliant payroll operation across 45+ countries and ~5,700 employees.

In this hands-on role, you will oversee project execution, vendor management, and governance while eventually serving as the US Payroll Lead in the future-state organization.

• Strong governance, controls, and compliance within complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution, implementation, and stabilization of the global payroll function for the Food Ingredients business as it transitions to a standalone organization.
• Own delivery against the global payroll project plan, ensuring milestones, risks, dependencies, and readiness activities are actively managed.
• Drive Day 1 payroll readiness across 45+ countries and approximately 5,700 employees.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure payroll stand-up and transition.
• Ensure payroll processes are compliant, scalable, and aligned with country-specific requirements.
• Support transition from implementation to steady-state operations with strong controls and governance.
• Lead vendor coordination and performance oversight within the defined vendor model.
• Establish operational excellence with process documentation, issue resolution, service metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the future-state US Payroll Lead while maintaining global payroll leadership.
