Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks an experienced Payroll Tax Manager to lead the organization’s tax strategy and oversee all tax reporting functions. You will provide leadership and training to Supervisors and their staff, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings.

Requires four years of multi-state payroll tax experience, supervisory background, and CPP or FPC certification. The role is on-site in Chandler, AZ with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of multi-state payroll tax experience and supervisory/manager experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local wage laws.
• Certification in payroll (CPP or FPC) is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and submits federal, state, or local tax returns or filings.
• Prepares tax planning reports and estimates the organization's tax obligations.
• Partners with senior management to outline strategies for minimizing tax liabilities.
• Ensure payroll tax department processes liability payments and returns timely and accurately.
• Maintain tax records and perform periodic audits of payroll tax processes.
