Job summary

Twilio is seeking a Senior Tax and Compliance Analyst to oversee payroll tax compliance and mobility regulations across the US, Canada, and LATAM. The role ensures risk mitigation and operational efficiency for a highly mobile, global tech workforce.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Americas Payroll, you will drive compliance accuracy, manage filings, and collaborate with tax authorities, auditors, and local payroll partners to implement scalable processes in a dynamic multinational environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of payroll tax and compliance experience in a high-growth tech environment
• Proficiency with global payroll platforms (Workday, ADP, Deel, etc.)
• Expertise in US federal, state, and local taxes and Canadian provincial taxes
• Ability to translate complex statutory tax laws into clear corporate policies
• Experience with LATAM payroll regulations (e.g., Brazil, Mexico, Colombia)

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll tax compliance, filings, and reconciliations across US, Canada, and LATAM
• Monitor employee movement for accurate tax withholding across borders
• Oversee year-end tax reporting processes (W-2s, T4s, LATAM filings)
• Serve as primary contact for tax authorities, auditors, and local payroll partners
• Develop scalable internal workflows to automate tax adjustments for mobile employees
