Job summary

Vedder Price P.C. in Chicago seeks a Payroll Manager to lead domestic and international payroll across the US, UK, and Singapore. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery while maintaining controls and audit readiness.

The role requires building a capable payroll team, guiding process improvements, and partnering with HR, Tax, and Finance to support business goals in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum 6–8 years payroll experience with leadership experience.
• Experience managing multi-state and international payrolls (US/UK/Singapore).
• Hands-on experience with UKG; ADP or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll for US, UK, and Singapore across multiple entities and frequencies.
• Ensure accurate, on-time payroll processing with proper controls and audit readiness.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Payroll team; own system improvements and data integrity.
