Qualifications

• Experience in global/international payroll.
• Proven track record of managing and developing a payroll team.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll in France; French language essential.
• Advanced knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and Workday HCM.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and international vendors and payroll tax compliance.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables and lookups.
• Strong organization, analysis and problem solving with attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet payroll deadlines.
• Clear communication and discretion with confidential employee information.

Responsibilities

• Run international payroll operations across seven countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead, coach and develop the payroll team to improve processes and efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR, IT and Accounting on payroll accuracy, system integrations and financial reporting.
• Oversee payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, benefits, tax withholding and funding.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, local, and international tax rules.
• Manage third-party payroll providers, resolve tax notices and government reporting.
• Lead payroll audits and maintain controls and documentation for regulatory and financial reviews.
• Ensure incentive programs, equity awards and their tax obligations are correctly accounted for.
• Lead year-end payroll, including preparing and distributing employee tax forms.
• Improve payroll systems, reporting and integrations for better accuracy and compliance.
