Job summary

ANI Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Payroll and Operations to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll across the US and Canada, with oversight of EU and India.

This hybrid role requires three days per week in Princeton, NJ, partnering with HR and Finance to support compensation, benefits, and payroll systems. The role drives continuous improvement of payroll policies and processes, ensuring governance, data integrity, and effective controls in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in payroll/HR operations or related field with leadership responsibility.
• Experience with payroll systems (e.g. ADP WorkforceNow, Deel) and HRIS (e.g. Oracle Fusion HCM).
• Deep understanding of multi-state tax compliance audits and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end oversight of US and Canada payroll operations with oversight of EU and India.
• Establish and continuously improve payroll policies, procedures, and controls.
• Oversee payroll calculation, earnings, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Lead payroll tax filings, reconciliations, audits, and inquiries.
• Support compensation actions, benefits, equity programs, and employment changes impacting payroll.
• Manage vendor relationships and payroll system enhancements.
