Pacific West Site Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage and optimize payroll operations within a Workday environment, ensuring accurate and timely processing for a multi-state workforce in California.

The role partners with HR, Benefits, Finance, Accounting and HRIS to support payroll projects, reporting, integrations, and audits, leveraging advanced Excel and Workday reporting capabilities. This position offers a competitive annual salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or related field.
• 5+ years of Workday Payroll experience.
• Experience processing multi-state payrolls for large employee populations.
• CPP certification or Workday Payroll Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit weekly, bi-weekly, and off-cycle payrolls for accuracy and compliance.
• Review payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
• Develop and maintain Workday payroll reports and analytics.
• Lead system testing for updates, tax changes, and new functionality.
