Perplexity is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting team in San Francisco. You will partner with the Payroll Manager to ensure US and international payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely processing as the company scales through rapid hiring and global expansion.

The role offers hands-on ownership from day one, collaborating with People Operations, Accounting, Tax, and Equity to strengthen controls and automate processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on payroll experience, ideally including multi-state US payroll; international or contractor payroll exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• US and international payroll processing: Own day-to-day processing support for US multi-state semi-monthly payroll and assist with international payroll cycles across approximately 16 countries, working primarily in Rippling.
