Job summary

Capital One is seeking a results-driven Business Analysis Manager to guide analytics and strategic initiatives across the Global Payment Network. You will lead analytic projects, build risk models, and partner with IT, Sales, Operations and Finance to improve profitability and performance.

You will mentor analysts, translate complex data into actionable insight, and drive product and pricing strategies for lending products while managing multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field
• At least 2 years of experience in analysis
• Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in analysis
• 2+ years of experience in financial services
• 1+ year of experience in consulting
• 2+ years of experience in people management

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success
• Leadership: May manage and develop 1-2 analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates
• Product: Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product level modeling/analytics
• Marketing: Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for products
• Credit Risk: Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends
• Execution: Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy
• Partnership: Work closely with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement
• Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics
• Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: Tenacious decision maker
• Solid people leadership experience: Build and leverage capabilities of a high-performing team
• Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials
• Clear results orientation: Drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain environment
• Successful track record in fast paced environment; consulting experience a plus
