Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Business Manager to lead analytics-driven strategies within the Global Payment Network in Chicago, IL. The role combines strategic leadership with rigorous data analysis to drive growth, profitability, and risk management for lending and partner initiatives.

You will own product analytics, pricing strategies, and cross‑functional execution across IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of quantitative analysis experience.
• Minimum 3 years of qualitative analysis experience.
• At least 1 year of people management experience.
• At least 1 year of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to drive growth, profitability and competitive advantage.
• Own business segments with planning horizons 1–6 months; oversee multiple projects.
• Lead and develop analysts, mentoring to retain talent.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies and product analytics.
• Lead marketing and customer insights to support new experiences and go-to-market plans.
• Drive credit risk insights and modeling aligned with performance goals.
• Coordinate cross‑functional delivery of business requirements and execution.
• Partner with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance to improve quality and profitability.
• Show strong analytics, quantitative orientation and executive communication.
• Demonstrate results orientation in a dynamic business environment.
