Job summary

Capital One in New York, NY seeks a Manager, Risk Management to join the International Regulatory Risk Management team for the Global Payment Network (GPN). You will drive international regulatory operations, build a scalable, governed engine and partner with business, product and tech to enable global expansion.

You will lead international audits and exams, manage cross-border change programs, and centralize regulatory engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 1 year of Financial Services Risk Management experience.
• At least 3 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute international regulatory reporting and complex global exams for the Global Payment Network, including major international audits.
• Drive post-exam insights into continuous, systemic control enhancements.
• Manage international change management frameworks to comply with shifting international laws.
• Participate in country entrance and exits, in line with business strategy.
• Deploy a unified regulatory engagement model for the Global Payment Network, establishing clear operational guardrails and centralized oversight for all international regulatory interactions.
• Coordinate and drive alignment across a globally distributed network of teams.
• Partner with Business, Product, and Technology teams to build enabling environments globally.
