Job summary

ThriveCart is seeking a strategic Product Manager – Payments to lead the global payments infrastructure, enhance checkout experiences, and expand payment options. You will work with engineering, design, compliance, and ops to ensure reliable, secure, and compliant payment capabilities for digital products, subscriptions, and services.

Responsibilities include defining the product roadmap for payments, integrating providers like Stripe and PayPal, and driving growth while maintaining PCI/PSD2

Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling payments systems in SaaS/fintech or ecommerce.
• Strong understanding of payment infrastructure including gateways, fraud, settlements.
• Able to read API docs and translate into product requirements.
• Experience in agile, cross-functional teams with a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute end‑to‑end product strategy and roadmap for ThriveCart’s payments ecosystem (checkout, gateways, routing, fraud, refunds, treasury, reconciliation).
• Define, prioritize, and deliver features to improve conversion, reduce friction, and enable global scale.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to deliver high‑quality user experiences and robust back‑end systems.
• Integrate and maintain third‑party providers (Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net) and explore local methods, wallets, and bank debits.
• Ensure all payment solutions meet regulatory requirements (PCI, PSD2, SCA).
• Monitor performance, adoption, and reliability of payments systems using data and feedback.
• Work with customer success to identify payment pain points and drive improvements.
• Stay informed on global payment trends and fintech regulations to align with ThriveCart’s growth.
