Job summary

Dow is seeking a Patent Prosecution Paralegal to support the patent team. Based on site in Midland, Michigan, or Lake Jackson, Texas, you will manage domestic and international patent prosecution assignments with legal professionals, clients, foreign associates, and docketing teams.

You will prepare, review, and file patent applications, respond to office actions, and coordinate prosecution activities across jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file U.S. patent applications, international PCT applications, and related documents.
• Coordinate domestic and foreign prosecution activities with attorneys, inventors, and vendors.
• Monitor dockets and deadlines; communicate patent office actions and maintenance matters to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate patent records and improve processes through standard policies and tools.
