Job summary

Lilly, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, seeks a Global Product Steward scientist to drive technical stewardship of parenteral drug products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer processes from development to manufacturing.

You will apply data-driven decision-making, mentor junior staff, and drive improvements across global manufacturing sites while travel is expected. Domestic/international travel: 10-25%.

Qualifications

  • PhD with 5+ years in parenteral manufacturing OR MSc with 10+ years of parenteral manufacturing experience OR Bachelors with 15+ years of parenteral manufacturing experience.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex technical data and troubleshoot data issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership, influence, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical stewardship of parenteral drug products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for commercialization and tech transfers at internal and external sites.
  • Design and transfer robust manufacturing processes to commercial and third-party operations; liaise with CM&C teams.
  • Leverage internal/external scientific communities to impact Lilly's ability to commercialize medicines.
  • Apply data-driven decision-making to integrate cross-functional information and drive technical advances.
  • Champion changes that improve productivity and business objectives.
  • Coach and mentor junior associates.
