Job summary

Quad, a global marketing experience company, seeks a Technical Services Specialist to support customers and sales executives by directing technical service efforts. The role involves coordinating design, brand management, and global services across national and international contexts.

You'll work with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies, qualify locations, and onboard customers, while providing clear recommendations and technical support to field staff.

Qualifications

• Ten years’ experience in folding carton and label industry.
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience in structural design.
• Demonstrated leadership, people skills, and strong project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers (national and international) and sales executives.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies; collaborate with prepress, structural, design, and manufacturing to implement new equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with finance, design, and IT to integrate and automate design systems with estimating processes.
• Qualify and certify international locations to ensure standards.
• Engage with vendors to explore technologies, ensure compliance, and qualify materials.
• Provide recommendations and assistance for Quad Packaging’s technical certifications.
• Support field service technicians in resolving issues.
• Assist with Prepress and Brand management tasks; collaborate on graphics and structural design projects.
• Project manage implementation of new technologies and onboarding of customers.
• Offer customer technical support; coordinate global packaging projects.
