Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking a packaging engineering specialist to support reusable packaging initiatives and major capital projects. You will provide engineering support for packaging equipment, collaborate with QA and Technical Services, and act as SME for global packaging programs.

You will lead multiple packaging projects from concept to implementation, mentor teams, and share knowledge across sites while ensuring compliance with design standards and qualification requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Package Engineering, Engineering, or another STEM field.
• 3+ years of packaging experience (parenteral/wet/dry).
• Experience with reusable packaging design and vendor management.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for packaging equipment and materials.
• Serve as SME for material management and process engineering on capital projects.
• Lead and manage multiple packaging projects from concept to implementation.
• Provide packaging technical support across Lilly sites and ensure qualifications.
• Develop and implement packaging improvements and knowledge sharing.
