Job summary

Google is seeking a Director of Data Center Operational Technology Security within the CSRM team. You will define global strategies to secure Google’s physical and operational data center infrastructure and lead a high-impact organization responsible for proactively identifying and mitigating enterprise-wide cyber and physical threats across critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in technical infrastructure, industrial control systems, or cyber security engineering, including 7 years in executive leadership overseeing teams.
• 15 years leading technical security programs, risk governance, or critical infrastructure engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

• Define and direct multi-year security architectures, risk quantification models, and defense‑in‑depth frameworks for global OT systems, rack-level environments, and critical facilities.
• Establish governance mechanisms and executive accountability across GDC, Cloud CISO, Corporate Engineering, and PSS to deliver unified, end-to-end security architectures.
• Build, scale, and inspire a global organization of technical managers, engineers, and program leaders. Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, psychological safety, and leadership.
• Serve as the principal advisor to business and engineering executives on emerging OT, cyber, and infrastructure threats, steering multi-year roadmaps and investment strategies to proactively protect critical assets.
