Job summary

Green Industrial Supply, Inc. in Dubuque, IA seeks an Expeditor to ensure timely material availability and support purchasing and supply chain by tracking and expediting international orders.

You will maintain PO records, communicate with vendors, process order acknowledgments, monitor lead times, and help keep production schedules on track while delivering professional service to customers and partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong ability to prioritize, organize, multitask and meet deadlines.
• Effective written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to understand and process large amounts of data.
• Preferred: Associate degree.
• Preferred: 1-3 years in computer-based or customer service roles.
• Preferred: experience in international import/export procedures, scheduling, purchasing, order fulfillment, or material planning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of open purchase orders and communicate with vendors.
• Process order acknowledgements and PCNs.
• Review and process reports, adjust orders as needed.
• Communicate part availability and shortages to internal stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies with customers and vendors.
• Enter work orders and sales orders, verify pricing, MOQ, and lead times.
• Monitor sales orders for on-time delivery and follow up on back-orders.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support expedited shipping.
• Provide coverage for related roles as needed.
