Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a Global Opex Finance Manager to join the DSP Finance team. In this highly visible role, you will own key components of the global operating expense planning process, including personnel costs, headcount, Travel & Entertainment (T&E), and Digital Services Taxes (DST), while partnering closely with business leaders to drive informed financial decisions.

This role combines financial planning and analysis, business partnership, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate Finance, or related analytical role.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets with strong modeling skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Experience with headcount planning and operating expense management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning, forecasting for global Opex categories.
• Partner with business leaders to drive informed financial decisions.
• Lead monthly and quarterly close, accrual reviews, variance analysis.
• Deliver variance commentary and performance insights.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to speed analysis and reporting.
• Automate manual reporting with dashboards and analytics.
• Manage global headcount planning with HR and Recruiting.
• Prepare business review presentations with key drivers and risks.
• Identify opportunities to simplify budgeting and forecasting processes.
