Job summary

Nabors Industries in Houston, TX, is seeking an Accountant II to join Global Operations accounting. You will prepare, record, and report financial transactions and support audit preparation and reporting, including internal and external audit activities.

Responsibilities include preparing balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closes, payroll reconciliations, and analysis for financial reporting. You will also maintain the chart of accounts and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2–4 years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close entries.
• Reconcile payroll activity with GL and payroll systems.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting schedules.
• Assist with external audits and audit support (PBCs).
• Support accounting management with ad hoc analyses.
